COMMUNITY SCHOOL PROGRAM
What we do for your school
The People’s Market partners with PGCPS community schools to bring local farm produce directly to students and families.
The People’s Market is a Prince George’s County food business that sources fresh produce directly from local and regional farms. We bring that produce to community school families through organized distributions– coordinated by us.
We handle everything: ordering, packing, transportation, and setup. All we need from you is a time, a space, and your families.

Have a question?
How it works
01
Connect with us. Fill out the interest form or attend one of our coordinator webinars. We’ll walk you through the program and check your school’s PGCPS vendor eligibility.
02
Set your schedule. Pick the dates and locations that work for your school year. We coordinate around your calendar– Back to School Night, wellness events, or recurring monthly distributions.
03
We handle the rest. Our team manages ordering, packing, and delivery. Your focus on your families– we focus on the food.
“Families come back every time. They love the cooking demo and the kids actually try new things. It’s become one of the our most attended events.”
